Hi I’m Kevin, welcome. Here is a little bit about me.

I am a comedian, actor and writer who lives in New York City.

My first comedy special The 30 Year Old Virgin is available on Amazon Prime. The Guardian said it was ‘A wry slick comedy special with callbacks in all the right places’ which was nice! Another review called it ‘Transcendent, Breathtakingly good.’ Which was really nice!

My next show Diary of a Bald Kid won the Best Solo Comedy at the NYC Frigid Festival. Broadway Baby called that show ‘A truly relatable laugh out loud hour. 4 Stars’. I filmed that as a comedy special and it should be out in 2024.

I just finished an off broadway run of Fool Proof at the Soho Playhouse. Portions of that show were featured on one of my favorite storytelling podcasts RISK!

When theaters were shut down I did a show on Zoom called Kevin James Doyle V. The City of New York 60 times. For 60 people. Each show was one on one. I figured if it was going to be weird on zoom so may as well make it extra weird. I adapted that into a comedy special without an audience that was shot on location where each of the stories took place.

The New York Times featured the comedy show I host outdoors in Red Hook. I titled this show An Outdoor Red Hook Comedy Show it just felt like the right name.

I am one of the co-hosts of The Bradshaw Boys podcast. We were 3 guys that watched Sex and the City for the first time together. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristen Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Willie Garson all were featured on the podcast.

The first show I ever wrote was a two person comedy sketch show called How To Be A New Yorker it opened off broadway August 22nd 2012. I was excited when I found out it was going to be reviewed in Backstage magazine. I opened the review and it said ‘How am I going to stretch this out into a full review? There’s so little to say about How to Be a New Yorker. D+”

Of course I put all the good reviews in this about me section but that one is my favorite. The show ended up running for over 300 performances and I learned a lot from writing and performing it.

Go check out some of my work. I hope you enjoy it.
